Hi. Does anyone play achaea here still?

James Howard 16 May 2009 05:23

Well, the title pretty much sums it up.

Amanda Robertson 21 August 2008 09:53

Most of the muds I have played that are similar to Achaea are really strict and have a-holes for imms or are majorly harsh when it comes to stuff like RP and stuff.

Amanda Robertson 16 May 2009 07:58

Achaea was a cool mud but the houses were idiots and more of a pain than they were worth, and the immortals were a-holes. I liked the way the game worked but I didn't like the people running it.

Hi, If we manage to get our hands on Hourglass (the original version by Genesis) or Rapture Runtime Environment (the one made by Shatan) it would have a very big flaw that we would have to fix...

Well, all Iron Realms games are like that actually, not just Achaea. I wonder how that Science Fiction game they're coding is going.

Joshua Tubbs 07 August 2009 21:13

Well, there are mage characters, who I think tend to be good. There are alsoccultists, who summon chaos beings and are, well, chaotic.

William Houts 16 May 2009 23:25

I'm not much for being a loner, and I lean towards good. also I like all the magical stuff, if that helps any.

James Howard 16 May 2009 18:02

Hi James, It all depends on what sort of character you like to play. do you tend more towards good or evil? Are you a fighter or a mage?

William Houts 16 May 2009 08:09

Oi. WHy the heck is my mail client displaing my real name? Must fix this. anyway. There's practicly none. Pretty much. On May 16, 2009, at 2:27 AM, James Howard wrote:

Hmm, would you recommend a mud playing that is similar to it, but has the good people and stuff? On 5/16/09, Joshua Tubbs <(Address removed)> wrote:

To me, they don't really sound something I'd waste my money on.

Amanda Robertson 05 January 2009 07:16

Avalon First Age isn't free normally, but the Gods can support you and hence you can play free.

Parham Doostdar 01 January 2009 05:23

I've plaied stuff like achaea, and the rest of the iron realms games, avalon, wich I might join again. Cybersphere,, hell, and just different ones to look at.

James Howard 29 December 2008 23:08

I have a character in Achaea also but after newbie area I do not have a clue on what to do

michael maslo maslo 10 August 2008 17:00

I'd be interested if someone can walk me through starting on Achaea. After the newbie area, it gets hard. Those houses require a lot, and most of them as a newbie I have no clue how to even attempt.

Joshua Tubbs 10 August 2008 15:51

Hi, I believe the beauty of LPC is the ability to make those hidden things.

Parham Doostdar 26 August 2008 05:54

I don't think I've played Avalon, but Aeonian Dreams is like that too, particularly when learning from another player.

Amanda Robertson 07 August 2009 04:20

Hi guys. I play Achaea, for which there are a few curing systems out there. One of them, which is great, uses MushClient, luckily, but there's a problem with that.

Parham Doostdar 10 August 2008 07:39

Hey guys. This is a copy paste of a thread I also started on Mud Magic and Mud Connector but I wanted to get multiple ideas from multiple forums so here goes.
